The Challenge of Decentralization
The benefit of decentralization is everyone can create data in their own way. And so just speaking to spreadsheets one of the simple things that we can do is land them in S3. If we could give S3 an interface a little bit more like Box, a lot more people would stay in Cloud. Like data science can write a pipeline over things that used to be in Box. That's kind of the journey we're on and I think it's where we're really challenged is there's so much opportunity.

Data is a team sport, but it's often difficult for everyone on the team to participate. For a long time the mantra of data tools has been "by developers, for developers", which automatically excludes a large portion of the business members who play a crucial role in the success of any data project.
