The History of Slavery
There is a western centricity to so much of this discussion about why the west is terrible. Has slavery been latched on to primarily to facilitate western self loathing? I think it's a very convenient issue for activists to latch on to, because it's not really something that anyone can do anything about. We must always be cognizant of the elements of our history which tell us how floored our brains are and how tribal we are.
