The coal memorandum was issued during the Obama administration. It said that the Justice Department shouldn't enforce federal marijuana prohibition in states that had legalized cannabis, but then it was rescinded by Jeff Sessions. "There's like this really confusing dichotomy when it comes to the law in marijuana," she says. The hypocrisy is infuriating because there are multi million and billion dollar businesses profiting off of it.
