The Definition of a Cult
YWAM was founded not as an organization, but as people that have relationships with each other. A lot of our structure originated from relationship. Around in the 80s, it became a little more organizational by necessity. We need to be recognized by governments and medical agencies so we can become actual organization. But now that doesn't mean there's around decentralization,. There can be disorganization dysfunction in which spiritual hurt and abuse can still happen.
