There was this letter he sent to the committee on the 30th of March, in which he said that there have been leaks that suggest he's been calling the committee a witch hunt. Three months later, the statement he puts out uses exactly those words. The idea that the public reading this will just go, he seems like he's been very hard done by is all fanciful. His popularity was already subterranean. We now know the exact wording of the vote that will happen in Parliament next week.
