The Need for Situated Knowledges

In this time of widespread misinformation and gross misrepresentations of truth, why perhaps now more than ever do we need situated knowledges? My own writing and thinking and acting within that framework were in very strong complex long term alliance with Sandra Harding and others who were developing feminist standpoint theory. So I guess it feels fitting to begin today by grounding our conversation in what you called situatedknowledges.
