The US Arming the Contras and Nicaragua
The US and its allies were very much willing to allow the rise of groups that they call terrorist groups when they attack America, but it was fine for them to attack and take over parts of Syria. And then this was happening in conjunction with this CIA program called Operation Timber or Pentagon program which was sending weapons to the Syrian opposition through Amman and Jordan. I raise all this because I want people to understand that all of that literally arming this very fistic insurgency in the name of trying to overthrow the Syrian government is a massive violation of international law. It's so self-serving because the U.S. was doing exactly the same thing that he just got called out the Gulf States and Turkey
