What Are the Beta Lactums?
Antibiotics that break down the cell wall, or stop at synthesis are known as beta lactums. There's three main types of beta lactums: penicillins, cephalosporins and carbapenums. These antibiotics have the same kind of structure to it, which is a beta lactum ring. They do in the context of this, I'm stopping the cell wall,.
