Scaling a Community
Qara is a new social media platform that lets users post and comment on other people's posts. The site has been criticized for its lack of moderation, but founder Adam Atshell says it could transform the way internet products are used. Qara was founded in 2012 by two former Twitter employees who wanted to create an online community with more democratic standards. They hope their work will help solve problems such as harassment and abuse.
