The Importance of Desire for Pleasure

I think there's an element of just wanting to know truth that kind of transcends a person on this. And I suppose it's not coming from an arrogant place like you see that we're in a race between consciousness and catastrophe. With the background we have we might be in a better place to be of service. That can be a motivation that I feel in a non egotistical way sometimes that I think is helpful.
