Then I Become Interested in Plant Medicine

As a kid, probably my two biggest interests were were martial arts and also shamanism. But i still didn't really know what to do. One of my best friends was working with waska,. He was part of the santo dimi church which blends different traditions but their main sacrament is iwaska. So i think just being familiar with waska began to plant that seed. And then i realized i wanted to go to the amazon where there was people who had been working with these plants for a long time. It really, it kind of fulfilled my intention in a way, which was to connect this world of spirit, to be in awe, to see beyond myself.
