Facebook has set up an independent oversight board for people to appeal its content decisions. The idea was that the board would function like a supreme court for facebook. It would be staffed by people who weren't facebook employees and make binding judgments on certain kinds of content decisions. But some fear it could change or kill news vida, which is at the centre of face books controversies since the very beginning.
