Socirates: Is there some work of a soul that you couldn't ever accomplish with any other thing? That is, for example, managing, ruling and deliberating. A bad soul necessarily rules and manages badly, while a good one does all these things well. The more we exert our self control over our passions and our appetites, the more we are modelling in miniature what it looks like to rule a city well. In latin, it's caled suum quique, which is, each to each his own. And so this is why i always talk to you all the time about putting your own house in order first.
