How to Use the Mac App to Create a Custom Icon

I am in love with the Mac app over using the website. The process for putting icons into a Google Doc from the plugin is a little clumsier than I would have hoped. If you use Adobe, Illustrator, Photoshop, or InDesign, they have plugins for PC and back.
