The Effects of Magnetism on Electrons

The second ring we've got is the same but much thicker. So there are more electrons in this so the effect should be much bigger. You can see now it's levitating at the high level and it even jumps off. And that's because the magnetism of the copper coils, so the magnetic field caused by the electric current going through the copper coils,. is inducing an electric current in the aluminium ring which then makes that magnetic. It shows that magnetism is associated with the flow of electrons.
