The goal of this grant was to provide the etherum foundation and its developer echo system with a very efficient provers and verifiers for starks, four repeated invocations of a hash function. And by now, we have already two new suggestions that can be added to one pre existing one, which isa mimsy. We also funded a crypt analytic effort to understand these new constructions from the point of view of e algebria crypt analysis and grebne basis algorithms," he said.
