Oswald knew that the base he had been at as a marine earlier in the fifties in japan was the same base where a lot of the two planes were taken ridw we were based at. He thought that that information would be very, very compelling to the soviets. And initially, for a few minutes, it was. But then they realized, await a moment when they looked into what he had done and and what he had studied,. They realized that he didn't actually have any of what they wanted. What they wanted was to figure out how to build a missile that would go high enough take out the planetee.
