The Decline of Gross Fixed Capital Formation in India
RBI and the government must agree that there is fundamentally no conflict. The conflict doesn't exist for the central banker, but it exists in tandem with the government if they truly want to bring inflation down. So there is a question of political incentives at play here. But I think when it comes to the larger issue of looking at India in the context of the global situation and all that, I think that some agreement will be arrived at.
