Since we made seeing white in 2017, there have been developments around the Samuel Morton skull collection and the Penn Museum featured in this episode. The museum announced plans to bury the skulls of 13 black Philadelphians in a historic black cemetery just outside the city. In 2022, Janet Mange sued two Philadelphia newspapers and the University for defamation,. She says she did nothing wrong with the move remains and was unfairly painted as racist.
