The Linux Foundation changed its trademark policy on April 6th. The new policy says that you can't use the word rust or Craytzio and cargo as trademarks for open source technologies. This has been a long standing issue about what we call things, but now it's much more subjective. Adam Smith: A lot of people got really upset because they didn't even realize that rust was trademarked in the first place.
