There's so many stories of so much suffering inside the country and suffering outside for those who've been forced to leave. That seems to be very much the story of Ukrainians today. But I wouldn't call them guilty of this, or I wouldn't criticize them. It is difficult to separate Russian language now from the language, official language of Russian army. If you kalmik or Buriat or Armenian, and you want to write a letter to your friend or your family member in Russian prison, you can write only in Russian because otherwise it will be destroyed or returned.
