I drew lots of maps of new salem, the city that i was existing in. I didn't know what it felt like to be born and raised in an urban space. Cleopatric lend could not be one of the point of view characters for reasons of who i am and what ted by as a white woman. She's there because she's amazing and she's fun ad she was torughly delightful to write. The american woman's suffrage movement is a fundamentalyracis process, and it still is in a lot of ways. But like women's rights were achieved by a series of alliances with other groups, that is just like how it happened. And so
