Are Charismatic Leaders Having Moral Convictions?

I think one interesting question is whether charismatic leaders necessarily have conviction. I would say they have to appear to have conviction at least to their followers. But that doesn't mean there's any actual substance behind the analytical, critical thing. Some societies where a charismatic politician will use more pathos in emotion. Other places where the charismatic leader will stay away from that and pitch things in a more analytical, critical way.
