"My kind of native self-advented libertarianism comes from just an idea that institutions are big and stupid," he says. "It was by no means a philosophical or political libertarianism, it was just a personal desire to do what I wanted and to do it on my own." He doesn't regard property rights as any more important than any other fact - they're probably less important than most other rights.
