The Ultimate Resource Is Resourcefulness
I want to give my kids everything they need, but not enough that it deprives them of aspirations and the goal setting. I don't want to steal their ambition from them before they've even had a chance to do something with it. The ultimate resource is resourcefulness. If you can teach your kids to be resourceful, give them all the resources they can. But ultimately, if they are resourceful, and they have goals and visions, and they really believe that their life has a purpose on it, they'll go and do great things and get a return on whatever you give them.
