Taren: What he wants and him as an artist, you know, absolutely. He really is good about examining. The reason that he's engaged with the source material in a way that we all can be engaged. In some regards, it's a bold face like denial of the fact that he did this throughout his career. Not in a bad way, not in him like distastefully saying, I don't, I hate it die hard. You know, he's just saying, look, what your expectations of this movie, I'm going to do something different that I like.
