Commodity Exporters Are Keeping Their Revenues Out of Indonesia
The BI left rates on hold for first time and some time, suggesting that inflation is coming off. The big commodity exports are just booming, right? And so there's this gaping monthly trade surplus that Indonesia really has never enjoyed before. Foreign reserves are on the way up, but the money that country makes from getting gas and oil out of the ground is slowing is rising at a slower rate.
