Every March, thousands of people from across China gather in Beijing for the two sessions. Unlike parliamentarians in many other countries, most are not career politicians. They don't receive a penny from the public purse for their vital legislative and advisory work. In this edition of Footprints, we introduce you to one of them. She's a farmer called Lu Man from Eastern China's Jiangsu province.
