There was a problem in connecticut once upon a time where you take a little chunk of wood and carve yourself a faked nutmeg then pawn it off on some unsuspecting person. They actually had to ban the practice of whitlin faked nutmegs to sell to people. They're called nut meggers. My old man in world war too. He' stationed in north africa.
