Is the Text Composable an Alternative to Text View?
In terms of compose and text view, it is again safe to think of it as text view is the view implementation of the text widget. So edit text inherits from text view, but edit text has nothing in it. In terms of hyphenation, if you enable hyphenation today on a new device, it will work with 1.1 performance. But on an older device,. It will work with 2.5 performance penalty.
