I became aware of Scrum at the mid 90s. I read a paper that Ken had done. I didn't know about Alistair stuff until later. So there were people in the old community, people like Ken Beck and Martin Fowler, who were pushing this iterative approach because it was fairly straightforward to do using some of the objects we need in language languages. And then Uncle Bob sent out the first email to begin inviting people to the snowbird game. There was a meeting that proceeded the agile manifesto meeting that Ken Beck called in Oregon.
