The Retail Sales Data for May
The retail sales numbers for may. came in minus minus point three, and remember, they're not adjusted for inflation. If you take out vehicles and gas, the gain was just point one, versus expectations of a gain of point five. And last month's one % increase was revised down to a point eight % increase. So across the board, much weaker than pected data on retail sales. Then look at the hant number on import export prices. Import prices not quite as bad, up point six % on the month, but export prices surge two point eight% on the month. We know that it has a false methodology. It understates prices for so many different reasons. These
