How Jesus Runs the Church
There had not been a manual of presbyterian polity written since 18 90, too. That was the last one written in the united states. And back in the nineteenth century, you right to an audience basically assuming their understanding and commitment to church government. To day, you can't make those assumptions. You need to spell it out biblically. The first book is signed to be really an introduction to hete mechanics of particularly presbyterian church government. It's the book i would have wanted as a seminary student. If it's a book that others find helpful, then the better.
