Dent is part of the Idrion royal lineage and he has the Royal locks separate from being returned. Upon his death, his hair goes white and like goes through a bunch of different colors and then it turns. We were left with a lot of confusion at the end of warbreaker about what exactly this means because there is the assumption that Vacher leaves us with about the Idrions and the return seemingly having some shape shifting potential.
