"i was opening for like, b flat and some more. There was an m c Was a young comic, i forgot his name," he says. "He goes, put that asam on the bucke ha ha ha, ha a." And they all ta, rat. Hat was gon then". He recalls being asked to go up in front of 2,000 people with no house lights or sound system at sam'stown; stage manager wouldn't let him open curtain because it would be too dark. The set is so bad you have to crawl through curtains into audience before anyone can hear your jokes.
