Tess: How does the presence of parenchimal hypertension influence your thinking about prognostic applications for a serotic patient? Michael: There's a few things we have to think about in patients with pulmonary hypertension. We still consider liver transplantation for patients who have cirrhosis and portal hypertension who have now developed pulmonary hypertension. But there is emerging data that we should only consider liver transplantations for in patients who have a liver indication for liver transplantation.
