The Progression of Overload in Fitness After 40

I think one of the biggest problems with trying to stay fit into middle age is basically just the risk of injury and getting hurt. So when you're 18 to about 35, the levels go like this: It is results first injury prevention second. After 40, especially after 40, it takes so much longer for your body to recover from an injury. You don't heal that like wolverine. Unless you've actually taken care of yourself. The other thing I would throw in there is learning about mobility, learning about activating muscles.
