At this stage, the self feels that it has life all figured out. The ego loves to create efficiencies and perfected processes. There is a severe criticism of how others think. And there is severe superiority. This sort of ego lives in a world where things are sure and clear. It doesn't realize that one's perspective is one of many valid perspectives.
