The Importance of Reading

Reading and learning was sort of an escape from a pretty dreary and often painful life do you think your mom sensed that that was a way out? She recognized you were smart she recognized that you could do something with your brain and uh that she wanted to kind of know i don't know because i you know she she was pretty heartbroken when i did decide to leave um.
