The Importance of Intimacy in Movies
Quest for Fire is one of those movies that became much bigger on home video, was saved by home video. I would love to see this film on a big screen with a silent audience and all of that. But there is something about watching this movie alone in your home, at night, in a dark room, that really kind of spooks you. And again, it's cause when you take this movie home, there's like an intimacy to it that really works there.
