Artificial General Intelligence Doesn't Have Emotions
I think emotions provide important information about the world. They can provide clues, intuitions. If you're walking down a street late at night and you have the intuition, someone's following you, that's real knowledge. You just don't know what the program is at the moment for artificial general intelligence. Whatever consciousness is, mystery as it is, I still think the laws of physics apply to it. The Turing principle still applies. It could be simulated by a computer system in theory in principle.
