How to Manage Iron and Anemia in CKD Patients
For your CKD patients that are not yet on dialysis, first thing you got to think about is iron deficiency. As their real function deteriorates, their upside levels go up and they just don't absorb oral iron at all. And so we see a lot of iron deficiency in CKD long before dialysis. They start losing a little bit of blood in the dialysis machine or in the filters. There was a trial last year called the pivotal trial that looked at iron versus more iron. And more iron was more better. Paul, do you want to what was what else did we have? Sure.
