A month before gutmund's disappearance, 18 year old erla boladote attended a house party in racievic. She was enthralled by the recent hippy influences that had reached the shores of iceland. Erla often visited the communes around the area to party, dance, smoke cannabas and listen to rock music with like minded teens at the party.
