I have a lot of friends with like very strong opinions about ethics. One divide between them is on the issue of animal rights and whether it's wrong to eat animals or animal products at all. And so this is causing some tension among people who care about ethics. But one argument that I've seen that I liked is, you know, it seems appropriate to use like shaming or ostracization to discourage behaviors in violation of what we all agree is morality.
