The Top Ten Defence Argument, Framing, Whatever

The inflection points on defence have really big consequences for building teams, winning play off series. And they're the thing that is the easiest to miss at a high level. We know there are great defensive players who, if things start really fall apart, you just can't be a top ten defence by yourself. But what happens when you're like, oh, there's another year at 12, there’s another year at 14, there'm another year at 16? I mean, do you make nthing of that that they seem to be slipping a little whereas a couple years ago, they were just flat out number one, right?
