How I Learned Esperanto

Richard speaks, probably you're the only person I know who speaks a constructed language fluently. So can you start Richard by telling me a bit about you, where you grew up, where you're from and then how you ended up learning Esperanto? Yeah sure. My name is Richard obviously. I grew up in Queensland in rural Queensland so on a tiny little town called Emerald which is basically out middle of nowhere. But my grandma would speak German and I didn't understand German so I just thought you were speaking a really bad English like that. That's the sort of like you okay?
