The Incidence of Diagnosis of PE Is Going Up
The use of CTPA has doubled while increasing every year, every decade since 2000. And the incidence of diagnosis PE has risen as well. We used to consider that a low probability of PE is less than 15%. A moderate probability is between 15% and 40%, and a high probability is above 40%.
