The Importance of Accepting Loneliness

When someone says, I'm feeling really lonely, the best thing we can do is say, man, that must feel really tough. You know, kind of providing the sense of normalizing and validating that other person's expression. And so hopefully the person who feels lonely, then feels like they're in a place that's safe. They feel like they can honestly say what they need and they feel like they're going to be heard.
