Lewis Ahanke and the New Atheism Movement

The new atheism is very rational and suppresses the imagination. We need to be aware that people tring to shut down the imagination in order to persuade us that we can only believe in what is true rationally. And therefore, atheism, as much as christianity, is tha wish fulfilment. Do you think there are certain things that louis thought were easier to believe than others? You kind of get that sense throughout this story that maybe this thing is easier to believe, but that thing's really difficult to believe. Is there a parallel that lowis is trying to make with his own society believing things? Do you think?
