Jemisin: The benefit of even writing in second person is that it calls attention to itself sometimes having a device or a technique that is unique that is rarely used can be really interesting to the reader. Another thing is the immediacy of second person like I said it sort of forces the reader right into the story um and they take this more active role in the protagonist's journey.
